Washington Township is under the Westwood Regional School District, along with the neighboring borough of Westwood. Schools in the area include:

  • Washington Elementary, a K-5 school
  • Jessie F. George Elementary, a K-5 school
  • Westwood Junior/Senior High School, which serves grades eight to 12 students.
  • Immaculate Heart Academy, an all-girls college preparatory school. It’s been named one of the five most outstanding Parochial High Schools in Bergen County.
